The competition will be judged by a distinguished panel of federal judges: Hon. Joseph F. Bianco ’91 (2nd Circuit), Hon. Adalberto Jordán (11th Circuit), and Hon. Debra A. Livingston (2nd Circuit).

This year’s case —bringing with it a new set of social-distancing challenges not outlined in the case summary—touches on issues of disability rights, statutory interpretation, standing, and mootness. Oral arguments in Chen v. Secret Saturdays Inc. will be delivered by four outstanding student finalists: Lydia Turnage ’21 and Christen E. Hammock ’20 (representing Chen) and Gregory Bernstein ’20 and Andrew Khanarian ’20 (representing Secret Saturdays).

Since 1925, the Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition has been the proving ground for the Law School’s most talented aspiring advocates.
